The BARchive Project
 

The brief is to design a BARchive for Ben Kelly Design: a hybrid space between an archive and a bar. We had imagine and develop a proposal for an adaptable structure to provide a flexible space that can be adopted into a workshop space, a speaker's platform, study spaces, archive and exhibition spaces or a meeting place in which the material of the BKD archive will become the incentive for a series of events and facilitate people.

We created a flexible multi - layered structure which make the most out of the restricted dimensions of the site. It's a piece of furnitecture to facilitate: storage, display, study, sharing ideas, and gatherings of various sizes and purposes (discussions, lectures, workshops).
